Pastor Dr. Tena L Leflore, rounder and CEO.
Evangelist Tena LeFlore’s ministry was conceived in the summer of 1986 through a vision given to her by the Spirit of God. She began to see women with their heads hung down after looking at other women succeed, believing that they could never attain to such status in life. She also saw the complete helplessness and hopelessness. These were women of all creeds and colors. She began to yell (seemingly outside the scene) to the women, “Yes You Can! and you are just as beautiful.”
Again, in the spring of 2002 she received yet another dream/vision confirming the call from God to ministry; which was so powerful; it highly motivated her to begin to implement her plan of action. In the summer of 2002, after the death of her second cousin (due to gang violence) she began to go into intercession for the young men. She then began to hear the cry of these young men, crying out “God where are you? Do you hear my cry?” At this point God spoke in her spirit paridium shift. This meant to include all elements of \or to include not only the women but also the men.
She was a certified aerobic instructor in 1986 when she re-ceived the call. Further, she is knowledgeable in the field of Nursing, Psychology, Growth/Development and Active Communication skills. Additionally, she also has experience in Management, Marketing and strong customer service skills. Furthermore, she is certified in Human Resources from Cal State Long Beach and is certified with the state of California for food safety (HACCP).
Currently, she is the CEO and founder of Changed Ministries International with Changed Ministries, “Yes You Can”, Resource Center and CMI publishing. She evangelizes in the parks of Compton, Los Angeles, Carson and Lawndale. Her most cherished accomplishment is her four adult children, Julian LeFlore Jr., John Solomon LeFlore, Justin Sean LeFlore and Jena Marie LeFlore.

1. Physical Safety – Reducing or eliminating threats to body or life. Physical need may at times take precedence over physiological needs.
2. Psychological Safety- A person must understand what to expect from others, including family members and the resource center personnel. A perceived threat causes stress. The individual may react in various ways to adapt to the stress. For example, an out going active person may become withdrawn or a previously cooperative person may suddenly refuse to participate. This may be a symptom of a need for safety and security emotionally.
This need generally arises after physiological and safety needs are met. Only when the individual feels safe and secure does he or she have time and energy to seek love and belonging; and to share that love with others. This is where an individual’s God given gifts or gifts are acknowledged by peers.
The need for self-esteem in linked to the desire for strength, achievement, adequacy, competence and confidence when facing the world and ones own independence. People also need recognition or appreciation from others. When both these needs are met, a person feels self-confident and useful. When this need is met a person will discover their gifts, talents, and abilities.
Theoretically, when people have met all the lower- level needs, it is by self-actualization that they achieve their fullest potential. They have a mature multidimensional personality, frequently they are able to assume and complete multiple tasks. They achieve fulfillment from the pleasure of a job well done. They are not dependent on the opinions of others about appearance, quality of work or how to solve problems. Although they may have failings and doubts, they generally deal with them realistically. This is were purpose for life is discovered, which then produces a passion and zeal for living
Will be an ongoing daily physical fitness program, which will be basically in the care of Changed Ministries. We believe that Gods purpose includes being also physically fit. In being physically fit produces a person full of energy, strength, and flexibility. When you are physically fit this will effect also your mental well-being and self confidence.
The program is reminiscent of an extended family, offering personalized care to "at risk" children. Our program is designed to enrich and enhance each child's recognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Eventually, we plan to offer services to children ages 5-13 years old in a before and or after school tutoring and enrichment program. We respect parents as the primary care givers. We believe parents and child care providers are partners in children's care and education.
